Shiitake Grain Spawn
This all-weather strain fruits at a broad temperature range and is great for all-season production. This 4 lb bag of grain spawn comes sterile in a sealed bag with a microfilter patch. Grain spawn is best used fresh but can be stored for short periods in a refrigerator. We use certified organic grain for all our grain spawns.
Shiitake's preferred fruiting temps are 55-70°F.
Spawn may need to be grown to order and can take up to three weeks. Please call or email with any questions.
