Soy/Bees Wax Blend

Our custom soy-bees wax blend is the perfect combination for sealing logs after inoculation. The low melting point of the soy wax mixed with the malleability of the bees wax makes this blend ideal. Sealing your inoculated logs with our soy-bees wax blend can help prevent moisture loss at the inoculation site and ends of the logs. Controlling moisture in your logs is one of the keys to having a successful mushroom harvest.

The soy wax is - 100% vegetable, made with pure soybean oil. Natural and biodegradable, manufactured meeting FDA standards. Contains no palm wax. Contains no petroleum or paraffin.

The beeswax is - natural, yellow beeswax granules that are characterized by their golden yellow hue and natural aroma. They are filtered to be free of debris. The cleanliness and small size of the granules contribute to the product's ease of use.

We estimate that 1 lb of wax will cover 1000 plugs.
